Goldfinch Leadership LLC was founded by Veronica Scarpellino, a Board Certified Coach with almost 20 years of experience working with small and midsize businesses, and creative professionals at all levels of their careers. Goldfinch Leadership focuses on leveraging creative problem solving and an ethical business sense when working with leaders.

About Veronica Scarpellino

Veronica’s background as a formally trained coach and artist allows her to utilize creative sensibilities in practice as a leadership and executive advisor. Consider her preferred medium of found-object sculpture as an analogy: an appreciation of material culture and a bygone era compels her to view discarded or neglected objects with a new eye, to value, preserve and give them new life. With this mindset, Veronica helps her clients reframe their resources and circumstances as a way to supercharge their passions and attain surprising and powerful results.
Veronica has almost 20 years of experience supporting a variety of businesses and individuals as a coach, consultant, advisor, career coach, mentor and facilitator. She has spent most of her career studying positive psychology and growth mindset, and she earned a master’s degree in Social Engagement, focusing research on well-being, strategic partnerships, ethics and community engagement. Veronica has 10+ years experience working in Career Services in higher education, helping hundreds of emerging designers, artists and creative entrepreneurs pursue meaningful and impactful career paths. Prior to higher ed, she was an advisor and consultant to seasoned artists and businesses designing systems and opportunities to help clients reach their goals for the better part of a decade. |

Why a Goldfinch? The American Goldfinch represents abundance, positivity and inspired energy. Fun fact: the female can build a nearly-watertight nest from disparate natural materials, and after nurturing the hatchlings, she hands off sole caregiving to the male until the young fly the nest.
